Maria Wallace
Practice Nurse
Maria joined our Practice team in June 2023 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that includes almost two decades of Practice Nursing in a variety of new and established GP settings, having worked in various Hospital based settings in the earlier part of her career.
Maria has a special interest in smear taking, and management of results/follow up.
Maria has a Degree in Nursing and a Higher Diploma in Practice Nursing qualifying in both from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Maria has always been committed to her ongoing Professional Development and recent An Bord Altranais (Nurse and Midwifery Board) approved training completed included courses in Asthma, COPD and Heart Disease, with further training plans on the horizon!
We welcome Maria to our Practice and look forward to her sharing her warm and friendly caring nature for the benefit of all our patients.
